The committee approved its Terms of Reference, approved the Recruitment and Remuneration policy for Independent Advisors, noted the Housing Management Performance and Compliance Report, noted the Tenants’ Voice Report, noted the Your Voice, Our Action report, noted the Housing Management Policies Plan and agreed the committee's forward work plan.

Cabinet - Wednesday, 24th July, 2024 5.30 p.m.

The Cabinet agreed all of the items on its agenda. The most significant decisions were to progress a new draft Local Plan and to begin consultation on a Public Space Protection Order for dogs and their owners. The Cabinet also agreed to extend the contract for the Barkantine Heat and Power Company for two years, and to grant permission for five schools to become academies.

The King George Field Charity Board meeting covered several key topics, including the approval of previous meeting minutes, updates on audit accounts, financial positions, and governance, as well as discussions on grant funding and fees and charges for charitable assets.

The Cabinet agreed and noted the recommendations on all agenda items, including a £1.93m funding increase for the borough's homelessness services, a further £3.65m investment in the newly insourced leisure service and an extension to AEG Presents' licence to occupy Victoria Park until September 2027.
