Ashington & Blyth Community Partnership - Wednesday, 19th November, 2025 6.00 pm

The Ashington & Blyth Community Partnership met to discuss sports development, regeneration projects, and a number of other local issues. The meeting was scheduled to include presentations on sports development in Ashington and Newbiggin, as well as the Blyth Celebrates and Animating Ashington projects. Councillors were also asked to nominate members for appointment to outside bodies.

Family and Children's Services Overview and Scrutiny Committee - Thursday, 6th November, 2025 10.00 am

The Family and Children's Services Overview and Scrutiny Committee were scheduled to meet to discuss the Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) strategy, and to review progress on care proceedings and public law outlines. The committee was also scheduled to review decisions taken by the cabinet, and the committee's work programme.

County Council - Wednesday, 5th November, 2025 2.00 pm

The agenda for Northumberland County Council's meeting on 5 November 2025 included discussion of the Berwick Maltings Theatre project, annual reports from several cabinet members, an annual report from the Audit Committee, an interim report from the Family and Children's Services Overview and Scrutiny Committee, and a review of polling districts and polling places. Councillors were also scheduled to discuss political proportionality on the council and proposed updates to the constitution.

Communities and Place OSC - Wednesday, 24th September, 2025 2.00 pm

The Communities and Place Overview and Scrutiny Committee are scheduled to meet to discuss the Northumberland Fire and Rescue Service Annual Performance Report 2025-26, and the Food & Feed, Safety & Standards Service Plan 2025/26. The committee will also be asked to consider its work programme for the 2025/26 council year. Also on the agenda is noting the schedule of decisions made by the cabinet since the last meeting, together with the latest Forward Plan of key decisions.

Ashington & Blyth Community Partnership - Wednesday, 17th September, 2025 6.00 pm

The Ashington & Blyth Community Partnership met on Wednesday 17 September 2025, to discuss the council's budget and corporate plan, a community governance review, and sports development in Newbiggin. The meeting also included a public question time, and a review of petitions. Councillors were asked to consider nominations for outside bodies.
