The Overview and Scrutiny Management Committee met to consider a call-in request regarding the Cabinet's decision to approve the freehold transfer of the St Stephens Multi-Storey Car Park in Trowbridge to the owner of the adjoining Castle Place Shopping Centre. Councillors who requested the call-in argued that the Cabinet's decision did not adhere to the council's principles of decision-making. The committee decided to refer the decision back to the Cabinet for reconsideration.

Corsham Area Board - Thursday 2 October 2025 7.00 pm

The Corsham Area Board met to discuss local priorities, funding, and updates from partners. Councillors agreed to support the priorities and actions outlined in the Priority and Action Plan - Corsham Oct 25, which focus on young people, food poverty, renewable energy, employment for people with complex needs, and social value opportunities. The board also considered grant applications and reviewed recommendations from the Local Highways and Footpath Improvement Group (LHFIG).

Standards Committee - Thursday 2 October 2025 10.30 am
