The Planning Policy Committee of West Northamptonshire Council approved the updated West Northamptonshire Local Development Scheme on 08 January 2026. The committee delegated authority to the Head of Planning Policy and Specialist Services to make minor editorial and presentational changes to the scheme.

The Planning Policy Committee of West Northamptonshire Council agreed to recommend to Council that the draft West Northamptonshire Local Plan be issued for public consultation on 8 January 2026. The Planning Policy Committee decided to approve recommendations regarding the Grange Park Parish Council Neighbourhood Plan on 19 November 2025. The committee accepted the Examiner's recommended modifications and agreed that the modified plan should proceed to a referendum. Delegated authority was given to the Head of Planning Policy and Specialist Services to make minor editorial changes.
