The Growth Scrutiny Committee of Lincolnshire County Council met on 28 October 2025 to discuss economic development and skills initiatives. The agenda included updates on the Economic Infrastructure Lettings Strategy, the Inward Investment Strategy, Skills Bootcamps, and the Greater Lincolnshire Careers Hub, as well as a review of the committee's work programme. Overview and Scrutiny Management Board - Thursday, 25th September, 2025 10.00 am

The Overview and Scrutiny Management Board met to discuss several key issues, including the King Charles III England Coast Path, treasury management performance, and an update on the IT services portfolio. The board supported recommendations to the Executive on the King Charles III England Coast Path project and the financial performance review. Members also endorsed the Scrutiny Annual Report and noted the work programmes of various scrutiny committees.

Council - Friday, 12th September, 2025 10.30 am

Councillor Stephen Bunney, Chairman of the Council, opened the meeting with tributes to former councillors and staff, before councillors moved to discuss the financial performance review, the youth justice plan, and a motion regarding asylum seekers. Councillors approved the Lincolnshire Youth Justice Plan 2025-28, and voted to approve an amended motion regarding the location of asylum seekers in the county. They also approved the calendar of meetings for 2026/27, and made appointments to committees and outside bodies.

Growth Scrutiny Committee - Tuesday, 9th September, 2025 10.00 am

The Growth Scrutiny Committee met to discuss procurement reforms, broadband progress, regional energy planning, and the Connect to Work programme. The committee endorsed reports on procurement, broadband and the Connect to Work programme, and provided feedback to officers. Members also discussed and approved the committee's work programme for the coming year.
