The Local Planning Committee of Greenwich Council met on Thursday 19 February 2026, discussing several planning applications. The committee approved the proposed extension to Woodlands Heights, a change of use for 872 Sidcup Road to a seven-bedroom House in Multiple Occupation (HMO), the construction of a new dwelling at land to the rear of 62 and 64 Footscray Road, a six-bedroom HMO at 49 Tewson Road, and an eight-bedroom HMO at 33 Waverley Crescent. However, the committee refused the application to increase the number of occupants at 872 Sidcup Road from six to seven.

The Local Planning Committee meeting on 27 January 2026 saw the deferral of the Woodlands Heights application, the approval of planning permission for a beauty salon at 154 Plumstead Common Road, and the refusal of two applications for extensions at 61 Ashburnham Grove. The committee also granted planning permission for a six-bedroom House in Multiple Occupation (HMO) at 72 Whetstone Road, but deferred a decision on a similar HMO application at 6 Melling Street pending a site visit and further information.

The Local Planning Committee approved two planning applications at 24 Lucknow Street in Plumstead, and at land to the rear of 182–184 Avery Hill Road in Avery Hill, subject to conditions. The Committee also approved an application at 113 Gregory Crescent in Eltham.

The Local Planning Committee refused permission for ASDA Stores Limited to alter the opening hours of the commercial unit at 123 Greenwich South Street. The Committee deferred their decision on the application by Mr Held for the change of use of 24 Lucknow Street in Plumstead to a five-bedroom small House in Multiple Occupation (HMO) with a maximum capacity of six people. The Committee approved an application by Ms I Cooke for the construction of a single storey rear extension at 43 The Slade in Plumstead. The Committee also approved an application by Plumstead Manor School to change the use of a car park at Plumstead Manor School to a Multi-Use Games Area (MUGA).

The Local Planning Committee approved the construction of a new dwelling house to the rear of a takeaway on Woolwich Road, Greenwich. It also approved the change of use of a property on Sidcup Road, Blackheath, to a 7-bedroom House of Multiple Occupation (HMO), and granted permission for the retention of an outbuilding to the rear of a ground floor flat on Alwold Crescent in Eltham.
