Passenger Transport Policies 2025

The report seeks comments on draft updated passenger transport policies to take effect from 2025. These include policies on public transport, home-to-school transport and adult social work transport. Area Committee comments will be shared with the Infrastructure Services Committee, Education & Children Services Committee and/or Integration Joint Board for their consideration when they are asked to approve the policies.

The Community Asset Transfer Policy (CAT) was approved on 9th June 2016 and is now over 5 years old. The Scheme of Governance Part 4B - Policy Development and Review Framework requires that policies are subject to a full review within five years. This report asks committee to consider and comment on the proposed changes to the policy.
