Devolution Consultation Response

The Government has launched a consultation seeking views on a proposal to form a Mayoral Combined County Authority for local government in East Sussex, West Sussex and Brighton.  Cabinet is asked to consider the draft response to the consultation ahead of its submission to the government.

As part of this, the Government has requested an interim plan setting out progress on developing the proposal needs to be submitted on or before the 21 March 2025.
