The Constitution Committee convened to discuss and make recommendations on several key issues, including adopting electronic voting for council meetings, proposed changes to the Health and Wellbeing Board's terms of reference, and a review of the council's approach to motions. The Children and Families Overview and Scrutiny Committee met on 11 September 2025, to discuss the recent Ofsted inspection, the prevention of youth offending, and the impact of local government reorganisation on children's services. The committee also received an update on the Gloucestershire Children and Young People's Wellbeing Coalition and the One Plan for Children and Young People.

Gloucestershire County Council met on Wednesday 10 September 2025, and addressed a number of issues including a motion to support adopted children, a discussion regarding the use of hotels for migrant accommodation, and a proposal to support the Forest of Dean District Council's bid to become a UNESCO Biosphere area. Councillors also debated and voted on motions related to council finances, highways services, and support for farmers.
