The CABINET of Hillingdon Council on 17 September 2026 approved the monthly budget monitoring report for month 4. They noted the forecast revenue underspend for the General Fund and Housing Revenue Account and approved budget virements and grant acceptances. The cabinet also approved changes to the General Fund Capital budgets, including releasing funds for Ruislip Scout Group building works, accepting a grant for family hubs, and accepting Department for Education funding for special school provision.

The Cabinet of Hillingdon Council approved the Cabinet Priorities 2026-2030 on 17 September 2026. The decision commits the Council to service delivery against these priorities over the next four years, providing direction for the emerging Council Plan, future policy, service delivery, organisational culture, and communications. The emerging Council Plan will establish a coordinated framework for delivering the priorities and measuring progress, aligned with the Medium Term Financial Strategy and the Council's business and budget planning arrangements.

The Cabinet of Hillingdon Council approved recommendations on 17 September 2026. Officers were authorised to continue engaging with the Department for Transport to secure changes to the Draft Heathrow Expansion National Policy Statement. This engagement aims to implement the Council's consultation response, which seeks stronger policy tests, clear pass and fail criteria, improved governance, enforcement arrangements, and greater protection for affected communities.
