The Cabinet of West Northamptonshire Council decided on 10/03/2026 to note progress on the Planning Service Transformation Programme, endorse the 2026-2030 Action Plan and its monitoring mechanism, and approve bringing in additional resources to accelerate the programme. The Cabinet also endorsed the Planning Advisory Service to undertake a further peer review in late 2026.

The Cabinet of West Northamptonshire Council approved the procurement of a Non-School Alternative Provision framework on 10/03/2026. The decision included approval for a three-year contract term with an option to extend for up to two additional years. The Cabinet of West Northamptonshire Council decided on 10/03/2026 to approve recommendations regarding Skills Bootcamp delivery. The Cabinet acknowledged the acceptance of DfE Skills Bootcamp grant funding of up to £1,500,000 and delegated oversight of procurement and contract awards to the Executive Director of Place, Economy and Environment.
