Community Safety Scrutiny Committee - Tuesday, 24 February 2026 - 10.00 am

The Community Safety Scrutiny Committee of Lincolnshire Council was scheduled to discuss a range of topics aimed at enhancing community safety and service delivery. Key areas for consideration included the operational activities of Trading Standards, an update on the Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue's Community Risk Management Plan, and progress on the Anti-Social Behaviour Project. The committee was also set to review its own work programme.

The Council of Lincolnshire Council met on Friday 20 February 2026 to approve the budget for the upcoming financial year and to adopt a new Council Plan. The meeting also saw the approval of the Pay Policy Statement and the Members' Allowances Scheme.

The Overview and Scrutiny Management Board was scheduled to discuss the Council's budget for the upcoming financial year, 2026/27, including proposals for service revenue and capital budgets. The Board was also set to review the draft Council Plan, which outlines the Council's priorities for the next five years, and receive an update on the transition of IT services. Additionally, the Board was to be informed of the work programmes of various scrutiny committees and its own work programme for the year ahead.

Community Safety Scrutiny Committee - Tuesday, 13th January, 2026 10.00 am

The Community Safety Scrutiny Committee of Lincolnshire Council met on Tuesday 13 January 2026 to discuss the revenue and capital budget proposals for 2026/27, the proposed Engagement Strategy for 2026-2030, and annual progress updates for the Lincolnshire Local Resilience Forum and the Registration and Celebratory Service. The committee also reviewed public health substance use services and partnership working, and agreed its work programme for the coming year.

Lincolnshire County Council is scheduled to meet on Friday, 19 December 2025 to discuss the council's financial regulations and budget, and to review the Section 17 Crime and Disorder Reduction Strategy. Councillors will also hear statements from the Leader and members of the Executive.
