Planning Board - Tuesday, 2nd December, 2025 6.30 pm
The Planning Board of Greenwich Council met on Tuesday 02 December 2025 to discuss several planning applications. Key decisions included the approval of new community sporting facilities at 177 Footscray Road, SE9 2SZ, a mixed-use residential development at Beresford Street and Macbean Street, SE18 6LW, and the conversion of commercial to residential units at 48-50 Artillery Place, Woolwich, SE18 4AB. Amendments to an existing planning permission for land bounded by Pettman Crescent, Nathan Way and Hadden Road, SE28, were also approved, alongside a new five-storey residential building at Penmon Road, SE2, 9PH.
Health and Adult Social Care Scrutiny Panel - Thursday, 27th November, 2025 6.30 pm
The Health and Adult Social Care Scrutiny Panel were scheduled to meet to discuss the council's food response, and to consider the Director of Public Health's annual report. They were also scheduled to note the commissioning of future reports.
Planning Board - Tuesday, 18th November, 2025 6.30 pm
The Planning Board convened to discuss planning applications, focusing primarily on amendments to a previously approved mixed-use development. Councillors approved the amended application for land bound by Vincent Road, Wilmot Street and Woolwich New Road, which includes increasing building heights and the number of residential units, and reducing commercial space. An application relating to Stadium Road and Baker Road was withdrawn.
Inclusive Economy and Culture Scrutiny Panel - Thursday, 6th November, 2025 6.30 pm
The Inclusive Economy and Culture Scrutiny Panel were scheduled to meet to discuss the borough's markets, high streets and shopping parades. The panel were expected to review the implementation of the Market Improvement Plan, and the council's approach to the management of small parades. They were also scheduled to consider the scope of reports for the meeting in January 2026.
