...the Council received the report of the Cabinet, approving its recommendations regarding a range of issues including remote attendance at council meetings, responses to government consultations and white papers, updates on the citizens' assembly, responses to motions on farming and winter fuel payments, an affiliation with HMS Diamond, carbon dioxide removal, warm homes, flood risk management, badger culling, climate adaptation, waste recycling, short stay hub beds, mental health contracts, workforce reports, capital programs, business management, budget and business planning, fair tax declaration, city centre accommodation, infrastructure funding, and civil enforcement, as well as scrutiny reports.

...to approve the budget for 2025/26, medium-term financial plan to 2027/28, capital program to 2034/35, and related strategies and policies, including council tax calculations, financial strategy, earmarked reserves and general balances policy, capital and investment strategy, and treasury management strategy.
