...to mitigate the increasing risk of fires at waste transfer stations, the Lead Member approved a 50% contribution towards installing fire suppression systems at Maresfield and Pebsham waste transfer stations, subject to Council approval of a Capital Programme variation, and delegated authority to the Director of Communities, Economy and Transport to finalize the agreement with Veolia.
