The Integration Joint Board decided to endorse a community-focused approach to frailty and rehabilitation services and to gradually reduce bed capacity at Rosewell House, with services withdrawn by 31 March 2026. The Chief Officer was instructed to implement the withdrawal of services at Rosewell House, monitor the impact of bed capacity reductions, and make necessary arrangements. A Direction was issued to NHS Grampian and Aberdeen City Council to deliver services in line with the strategic plan and cease in-patient services at Rosewell House by 31 March 2026.
