The Education and Children's Services Committee resolved on 25/11/2025 to note discussions with Aberdeenshire Council regarding school catchment areas for Dyce Academy and Dyce School. The committee instructed the Chief Officer – Corporate Landlord to review catchment areas for Bucksburn Academy, Dyce Academy, and associated primary schools to rebalance pupil numbers. The Chief Officer – Corporate Landlord is also to provide a report with proposed catchment area changes and consultation dates, and the Chief Officer – Education & Lifelong Learning is to update parents on progress.
