Decision

(i)       to note that officers would provide information to Members outwith the meeting on the work being undertaken with other local authorities and organisations in relation to Culter Den and the expected outcomes and timescale;

(ii)       to endorse the draft Aberdeen Net Zero and Adaptation Routemap 2026-30, as detailed in Appendix 1;

(iii)      to endorse the annual Aberdeen Net Zero Aberdeen and Aberdeen Adapts progress summary for 2025/26, as indicated in Appendix 2;

(iv)      to agree that the draft Aberdeen Net Zero and Adaptation Routemap be issued for public consultation alongside the Council Climate & Nature Plan 2026-30 and instruct the Chief Officer - Strategic Place Planning to report back to this Committee on the final Routemap only if material changes arose from the consultation process;

(v)      to note that the Aberdeen Net Zero and Adaptation Routemap would be updated in 2030, or earlier if required, in response to legislative, financial or policy change, with the update being reported back to this Committee;

(vi)      to note the Council interventions contributing to wider city action to be listed under the Routemap, as detailed in Appendix 3; and

(vii)     to instruct the Chief Officer - Strategic Place Planning in liaison with the Scottish Climate Intelligence Service, to publish the Aberdeen ClimateView dashboard.
