Decision

(i)            to note the Quarter 1 2026/27 actual financial performance for the period ended 30 June 2026, including the reported £2.487m underspend;

(ii)          to note the forecast full-year 2026/27 outturn position, which remained broadly on budget at this stage of the financial year, with a forecast underspend of £0.040m;

(iii)         to note the ongoing scrutiny arrangements through the Budget Savings Oversight Group for savings delivery, variance drivers and management action; and

(iv)         to note that the report provided a moderate level of assurance, as set out in Section 10.4, reflecting the broadly balanced forecast position alongside the need for further validation of savings delivery, timing-related variances and emerging service pressures.
