About

The Adur Licensing and Regulatory Sub-Committee handles most of the council's licensing functions, excluding policy matters and those covered by the Licensing Act 2003 and Gambling Act 2005. It considers and decides on applications for various licences and permits. This includes taxi licences, caravan sites, animal welfare, street trading, and public protection. The sub-committee also reviews applications for sex establishments if the Director for Communities deems it necessary.
