About

The Worthing Licensing and Control Committee is responsible for all licensing and gambling functions, powers, and duties conferred on the Council under the Licensing Act 2003 and the Gambling Act 2005. This includes determining applications for premises licences, personal licences, and club premises certificates, as well as dealing with gambling premises licences and notifications. The committee's remit excludes matters of policy, the determination of casino premises licences, and decisions regarding the late night levy, which are reserved for the Full Council.
