To award a contract for a period of 3 years (with option to extend by 1 year) to GSS (NI) Limited (Plotbox) via Crown Commercial services G-Cloud 14 call of contract.

Total contract value £147,014 (+VAT) including implementation costs

Reasons for the decision

The current system has seen no significant development in the past years and is considered legacy in its software architecture. The decision is to move to a modern web based and cloud hosted platform. This also gives access to digital mapping of cemeteries.

Alternative options considered

Alternative suppliers have been investigated but do not meet our cloud first digital strategy. Our current supplier has advised the system will be unsupported from April 2026.
