Decision

It is approved that Adur and Worthing Councils extend the Reprographics Service Contract provided by Arun Council from 1 August 2026 to the 31 March 2028 at a cost of £75,000.

Reasons for the decision

Worthing and Adur Council are currently in contract with Arun Council until 31 July 2026 to deliver the Reprographics Service. The contract with Arun Council is essential for Adur and Worthing Councils reprographics needs and has been working well. 

The Councils are currently spending on average £45,000 per annum (£3,750 per month) on this service and the contract renewal will extend this service on the same contract terms.

Alternative options considered

No other options have been considered, this is a well performing service and good value for money. We anticipate merging with Arun Council through Local Government Review so the new contract will run until the point both District Authorities will come together as a Unitary Authority.
