September 8, 2026 Service Director for Place & Economy (CLT) (Other) Key decision In call-in window View on council websiteFull council record
Decision
To authorise the procurement of the works to be executed by White Rock Construction Limited via a JCT Minor Works Building Contract (2024 Edition) for necessary unit repairs at T4, Dominion Way, Worthing with a maximum contract value of £130,000, inclusive of all contingency funds.
Reasons for the decision
T4 Dominion Way is held by the Council as a Tier 2 asset to support the Council finances through income generation. To enable the refurbishment of the unit to proceed so that the unit may be re-let to generate income for the Councils.
Alternative options considered
Leaving the site as it is. This would mean the unit would remain vacant, meaning the Council would continue to pay for void rates, as well as losing potential income from a new tenant.
