To migrate fibre networking across 22 council sites from current bespoke service arrangements to SD-WAN over CityFibre network using commercial ISP.

The total purchase value is £129,918.43 + VAT from KHIPU Networks Ltd for 3 years via SBS DWS2 framework direct award.

Reasons for the decision

Cost reduction in relations to current services and renewal of equipment and leased space. The decision is the most cost effective way to continue critical network services.

Alternative options considered

Continuing the current arrangement, however this would require an even more significant level of capital expenditure to renew equipment.
