Decision

To award the steel beam replacement work to J T Mackley, in the sum of £60,000.00 plus VAT, through the existing Pier and Lido Substructure Term Maintenance Contract.

The Pier and Lido Substructure Term Maintenance Contract is in place to undertake any work that is required to both Pier and Lido substructures.

Reasons for the decision

When undertaking the intrusive testing work to reveal the extent of the deterioration on the concrete encased steel beam, the beam was found to be in need of replacement.
