To agree amendment of the Band D new licence fee from £108 to £1008.

The Band D fee was listed as £108 in error when put forward for approval as part of the Environmental Health fees which were agreed under delegation in March 2026, whereas the fee was calculated £1008.

Reasons for the decision

The adopted fee of £108 was in error and a fee set at this level means a significant under recovery of costs, further this fee is unfair as it currently stands at a lower rate than the fee new for a single unit site licence at £199.

Amending the fee will ensure the correct fee is applied, reflects full cost recovery and fairness.

To maintain the fee at the incorrect level.
