About

The Selection & Constitutional Review Committee advises the Council on its constitution and committee structures. It considers suggested revisions to the Council's Constitution and, before the Annual Meeting, reviews the size and functions of the Cabinet. The committee also recommends which other committees should be reconstituted, assesses their terms of reference and membership, and appoints chairmen and vice-chairmen for various committees. Additionally, it nominates candidates for Mayor and Deputy Mayor and considers recommendations regarding electoral arrangements. The committee also appoints representatives to serve on other organisations.
