Purpose

Following a successful pilot, this report outlines a proposal to
introduce an Enhanced Recruitment Payment (ERP) scheme
to help address recruitment challenges for certain positions
within the council.
The report sought approval to adopt the scheme, and to authorise the AD of People, Communications and Technology to amend the Pay policy statement and finalise all necessary documents.

Approve the adoption of proposed Enhanced
Recruitment Payment Scheme
Authorise the Assistant Director of People,
Communications & Technology to finalise and
complete all necessary documents to
implement the scheme.
Approve the Pay Policy Statement be amended
to reflect the introduction of the scheme
