Suffolk Joint Standards Board

The Suffolk Joint Standards Board is responsible for deciding on serious complaints made against County Councillors regarding breaches of the Code of Conduct. It works jointly with Babergh District Council and Mid Suffolk District Council.

Following a formal investigation, if an independent person believes a breach has occurred, the Board's Hearings Panel will consider the evidence and decide on any sanctions. This process ensures a fair determination of significant conduct issues.
