To agree the draft Joint Air Quality Strategy for Babergh and Mid-Suffolk

Decision

It was RESOLVED: -

1. 1.1         That Cabinet approved the adoption of the Joint Air Quality Strategy presented in Appendix A.

REASON FOR DECISION

The Strategy demonstrates a commitment to improving air quality within the districts.

The Strategy includes objectives and actions aimed at reducing emissions which will have positive effects on public health.

Alternative Options Considered and Rejected:

That a modified version of the Joint Air Quality Strategy presented in Appendix A of the report be adopted.

That the Joint Air Quality Strategy presented in Appendix A of the report not be adopted.
