Purpose

To note the Building Safety Regulator (BSR) Inspection - Letter of Outcome

Decision

It was RESOLVED: -

1. 1.1          That Cabinet noted, the five areas of non-compliance identified through the BSR audit and the internal action plan in place to address these by July 2026.
2. 1.2          That Cabinet acknowledged the service-wide scope of the audit, notes that the number of non-compliances identified was limited, and further notes that the audit provides independent assurance regarding the Council’s current arrangements.

REASON FOR DECISION

To ensure Cabinet was formally informed of the outcomes of the Building Safety Regulator inspection and had sight of the actions being taken to address the identified areas of non?compliance.
