Purpose

To Note First quarter performance and forecast for General Fund in 2026/27

Decision

It was RESOLVED: -

1. 1.1          That Cabinet noted in Appendix A the General fund year to date surplus of £613k and forecasted year end surplus of £2.692m.
2. 1.2          That Cabinet noted in Appendix B the Councils budgeted, forecast and actual reserves position.
3. 1.3          That Cabinet noted in Appendix C the Councils capital programme year to date and forecast year end spend.
4. 1.4          That Cabinet noted in Appendix D the Prudential Indicators as required by the CIPFA code and constitution of the Council.

REASON FOR DECISION

To ensure that Members were kept informed of the financial position for both General Fund Revenue, Capital and earmarked reserves.
