About
The Barnsley Health and Wellbeing Board is responsible for agreeing the local Health and Wellbeing Strategy and coordinating health and social care services across the Borough. It brings together elected councillors, council officers, representatives from the Clinical Commissioning Group, other health providers, and Health Watch, which advocates for patients and service users. The Board also includes attendees from organisations impacting health, such as the District Police Commander, to ensure joined-up working. The public can ask questions at meetings, subject to specific submission deadlines and word limits.
