Agree to
progress further survey and due diligence work to inform the
capital investment of £0.385M to allow the adaptation of the
existing KS2 building at The Mill Primary Academy.
To agree to initiate a project to develop
new special school provision at The Mill, subject to a further
report detailing feasibility and the outcome of necessary due
diligence. This would support the potential establishment of an up
to 50-place special school for primary-age pupils with SEND, with a
target opening date of September 2026.
To
delegate approval of capital investment to the Executive Director
for Children’s to enable the asset owner to undertake the
renovation required.
