Purpose

Allocation of additional
resource to services within digital and business intelligence
services.

Decision

RESOLVED
that Cabinet:-
 
(i)           
Note that a revised structure is in place and being
recruited to and approve that additional resources be added to the
Core Directorate;

 
(ii)         
Approve the creation of a Laptop refresh
budget;
 
(iii)        
Request that a further report be submitted regarding
the benefits of Copilot but provisionally approve resources to
continue its operation;
 
(iv)        
Note an exercise is to be undertaken to align
correct equipment and MS licensing to job profiles and further
reports update progress and benefits; and
 
(v)         
Further reports are provided to outline the final
position with regards to the MS efficiencies and proposals to
address any remaining gaps.
