Purpose

Approval for the preferred
delivery option for a new hotel as part of Seam Phase
2.1.

Decision

RESOLVED
that Cabinet:-
 
(i)           
Note the progress made to date on the Seam phase 2
development master plan;

 
(ii)         
Authorises the release of £0.660m capital
funding and delegate approval to the Executive Director Growth and
Sustainability following consultation with the SEAM Board to enter
into any contracts associated with professional development
management support;
 
(iii)        
Endorse the proposed programme and governance
arrangements.;
 
(iv)        
Delegate authority to Executive Director Growth and
Sustainability following consultation with the SEAM Project Board
to statutory or regulatory agreements associated with the next
stage of design development; and
 
(v)         
Note that a further report will be submitted to
Cabinet following completion of the further design and development
of the project which will be funded as part of this allocation, in
order to present more detailed designs with cost plans for Members
consideration.
