Purpose

To approve the acceptance of
Local Growth Funding (previously the UK Shared Prosperity Funding)
for business support, skills and culture activity ensuring the
continuation of activity in 2026/27.

Decision

RESOLVED
that Cabinet:-
 
(i)           
Approves the acceptance of the £3.036M of LGF
allocated to Barnsley, for the 2026/27 financial year;

 
(ii)         
Approves the acceptance of any LGF Management fee,
from partners, to Barnsley up to the value of £0.227M;
and
 
(iii)        
Delegate decisions on funding allocated to
individual programmes within Local Growth Fund to the Executive
Director Growth & Sustainability and Director of Finance (S151
officer)..
