Purpose

Approval of the Local SEND Reform Plan. 

Decision

RESOLVED that Cabinet:-

(i)            Approves the Barnsley’s SEND Reform Plan and approves submission of the Plan to the Department for Education;

(ii)           Approves the acceptance of the £1.86M Experts at Hand grant funding; and

(iii)         Approves delegated authority to the Director of Children’s Services and the Director of Finance for the Experts at Hand funding in line with the proposition and model outlined in the SEND Reform Plan.
