Decision

The decision has been taken to approve the Trans Pennine Trail office to proceed in with delivering the Heritage National Lottery funded project, ‘Preserving the Past, Enriching the Future’.  The value of the project is £148,197 via a grant from the Heritage National Lottery Fund.

Reasons for the decision

The programme could not be delivered without this secured funding. The funding will support projects in South Yorkshire, including an opportunity to appoint an Apprentice to the team for 2 years and secure specialist support in areas for business development, marketing and digital accessibility. The project will empower the TPT Team to promote the Trail’s natural, built and social heritage whilst looking at digital infrastructure through a comprehensive website re development.
