Purpose

To inform cabinet of the
results of the Experimental Traffic Regulation Order (ETRO)
introduced to make changes to the waiting and loading restrictions
in Barnsley Town Centre. The Council’s Traffic Team requests
that Cabinet considers their recommendation to make the
restrictions into a permanent Traffic Regulation Order
(TRO).

Decision

RESOLVED
that Cabinet agree that the Head of Highways &
Engineering be authorised to arrange for the Traffic Regulation
Order to be made and published to retain permanently the waiting
and loading restrictions in Barnsley Town Centre as described in
the report and as detailed in the plan shown in Appendix
1.
