Purpose

1.    Approval to draw down external funding to deliver the Goldthorpe Housing Retrofit Project.

2.    Approval of the preparation and progress of any necessary statutory procedures and permissions required to deliver the Goldthorpe Housing Retrofit Project as per the Goldthorpe Towns Fund: Business Case Approvals Cabinet report (Cab.20.4.2022/8) (in line with DLUHC guidance).

3.    Approval to appoint external parties to deliver all aspects of the delivery of the Goldthorpe Housing Retrofit Project (both works and professional services) in compliance with the Council’s Contract Procedure Rules, including the extension of existing contracts.

4.    Delegation of approval to Capital Oversight Board, of any amendments to the details contained within full business case that may arise during project delivery.

5.    Delegation of approval to Capital Oversight Board to prepare and submit full business cases to maximise the Town Deal financial settlement, including the acceptance of any additional match funding for this and any other Town Investment Plan Projects to ensure delivery and add value to the project.
