Reasons for the decision

It has been discussed that there are more efficient and less complicated systems available on the market that can deliver the same requirement, but do not include the paperless option so all the information and outcomes remain in the same system and then when a person is terminated from service all the hands-on face-to-face evidence anddocumentation can beexported andtransferred intoour electronicrecording system as an episode of care for each occasion someone is in service.

Toextend fora furthertwo yearsit willcost £133,292.32in total.

Alternative options considered

None at this time as the system meets the needs of the business, but a review of the marketover thenext twoyear will takeplace aspart ofour processto checkwe getting value for money.
