The Council undertook a ‘mini-competition’ procurement exercise for the purchase of hand tools for the grounds maintenance service, utilising the TPPL Grounds Maintenance Framework. Following a comprehensive tender evaluation process, the supplier Ernest Doe was identified as the successful bidder. The Assistant Director for Environmental Services, Climate and Open Spaces has delegated authority to formally award the contract. The contract will be financed from the budget allocated for the broader initiative to bring the grounds maintenance service in-house.
