About
The Cabinet is Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council's executive body, responsible for making day-to-day decisions on implementing the council's budget and policies. It comprises the Leader and seven appointed Cabinet Members, each overseeing a specific portfolio. The Cabinet, and individual members, decide on the delivery of policies and services within their areas. It considers recommendations from other council committees to inform its decisions.
