Purpose

To note the position against the capital budget for the quarter.

Decision

Cabinet note:

1. The forecast capital expenditure for 2026/27 of £25.314M which is £0.116M (0.46%) lower than the latest agreed capital programme budget of £25.430M;
2. The approved increases to the 2026/27 and 2027/28 capital budgets funded from S106 developers’ contributions and external capital contributions and capital scheme budget rephasing approved under the Chief Finance Officer’s delegated powers as shown in section 2 of the report;
3. The risks associated with the capital forecasts as detailed in section 6 of the report; and
4. The capital programme remains fully funded from the council’s own resources up to 2029/30, based on the latest forecast of available resources.
