Purpose

To consider an application for a Street Collection Permit from The Poppy Appeal, Royal British Legion Village, Aylesford, Kent, ME20 7NX, to raise funds on behalf of The Poppy Appeal, which is an annual event held throughout the Country.

Decision

To authorise an extension to the Street Collection previously granted to incorporate the period Saturday 16th October 2024 to Saturday 9th November 2024 inclusive.

Street Collection Permits have previously been granted midweek to various charitable organisations to coincide with specific events, in this particular instance, Remembrance Day and the Poppy Appeal.
