Purpose

Bassetlaw District Council is the accountable body for delivering the agreed PIP projects and will receive the funding directly from MHCLG. In accordance with the WTB ToR and Assurance Framework, Bassetlaw District Council’s Section 151 Officer has the duty to assess each intervention proposed by The Board, and where one is required, the business case and will confirm that the projects are deliverable and are value for money.

It has been determined that no business cases are required for the Year 1 projects due to the relatively low allocations of grant in 2026/27. Approval is therefore required to progress the delivery of the specific projects within each intervention and financial allocation as set out in the table.

Decision

To approve the procurement of supplies and services for the delivery of the Year 1 PIP projects as identified in the table of the report.
