The Children, Adults, Health and Wellbeing Policy Development and Scrutiny Panel monitors and reviews the work of the Cabinet and helps develop new policies for Bath and North East Somerset Council. It scrutinises performance, reviews draft service and budget plans, and provides comments on key decisions before they are made.
The panel also has the power to call-in decisions made by the Cabinet or officers that have not yet been implemented. Its work ensures that council policies and plans are followed and evaluates the impact of decisions on residents.
