Purpose

An amendment is sought to the current Policy
to inform new applicants and existing licensees of the
Council’s statutory obligation to record decisions to refuse
new or revoke existing combined Hackney Carriage & Private Hire
drivers’ licences on the national NR3 database.

Decision

To agree that an amendment can be made to the
current Policy to inform new applicants and existing licensees of
the Council’s statutory obligation to record decisions to
refuse new, or suspend or revoke existing combined Hackney Carriage
and Private Hire drivers’ licences on the national NR3S
database.
